Pelago Updates Whrrl

Seattle-based Pelago has officially released the firm's updated Whrrl v2.0 application for the iPhone and iPod Touch, the firm said Friday. The application, which allows users to share pictures, text updates, and more, was released on Apple's App Store Friday. Pelago is launching the app at SXSW in Austin, Texas, with a party that includes Swedish band Sparhusen. Pelago is venture backed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, T-Venture, Bezos Expeditions, Trilogy Equity Partners, and Reliance Technology Ventures.
