Triquint In Defense Win

Hillsboro, Oregon-based TriQuint Semiconductor, a developer of radio frequency (RF) semiconductors, said this morning that the firm has fulfilled initial production orders for Northrop Grumman Corporation. According to TriQuint, the orders are part of a radar system for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). Financial impact of the orders were not disclosed. TriQuint said it was involved in the fabrication, testing, and delivery of gallium arsenide (GaAs) power amplifiers, bulk acoustic wave (BAW) filters, and other devices used for the radar system on the aircraft.
