Intermec Scores German Win

Intermec Inc., a manufacturer of RFID, barcode scanning, and other devices for the supply chain management market, reported Tuesday that a German firm will integrate Intermec mobile computers into one of its product offerings. The Everett, Wash.-based company said the new client, Daimler FleetBoard GmbH, provides telematics-based Internet services through its vehicle- and logistics-management devices. Intermec said FleetBoard is including Intermec's CN3e rugged handheld computer with its new DispoPilot solution. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Intermec's products include RFID readers and tags, bar code scanners and printers, and other related products used in supply chain management.
