Pure Networks Acquisition Closes
Cisco's acquisition of Seattle-based Pure Networks has closed, Cisco announced late Tuesday. The $120M deal, which was originally announced in July, will make Pure Networks a part of Cisco's Linksys division. Pure Networks develops home networking software which allows consumers to set up and manage their home networks; Cisco has been using Pure Networks for its Linksys Easy Link Advisor software line. Pure Networks was venture backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Ignition Partners, Intel Capital, and Mayfield.
