Mentor Graphics Powers UI Design

Wilsonville, Oregon-based Mentor Graphics said today that its user interface technology was used by digital video recorder manufacturer Pure, as part of a design of a new product. Mentor Graphics said that its UI technology and services were used to create the Pure Avalon 300R Connect Freeview+ HD Digital TV Recorder 3D user interface. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Mentor said its tools were used to create Pure's 3D user interface. The software runs on GENIVI, Linux, Android, and Nucleus operating systems.
