ActiveRain Gets $2.75M From HouseValues

Bothell-based online real estate site ActiveRain said Monday afternoon that it has received $2.75M in a minority investment from HouseValues. The firm operates an online community of real estate professionals, which allows users to create blogs and other real estate related content. According to ActiveRain, the deal is purely a financial one, and does not include any marketing or business aspects. HouseValues is based in Kirkland.
