ActiveRain Debuts Nationwide Referral Exchange

ActiveRain, operator of the real estate social networking site activerain.com, revealed Tuesday that it has launched a national referral hub for its members seeking to connect buyers and sellers to real estate professionals outside of their area. The company said the new service, called the ActiveRain Referral Exchange, is a central online exchange that enables referring agents to determine if there is a match by communicating with other agents and reviewing previous ActiveRain blogs. Any referral fees or other compensation is decided directly and privately between the involved parties and is not reported to ActiveRain, the company noted. ActiveRain provides a networking site targeted at real estate agents and mortgage brokers, and is headquartered in Seattle.
