Planar Announces Display Hardware

Specialty display manufacturer Planar Systems Inc. announced today that it has released a new family of high-resolution grayscale displays, the Planar Dome Zx series. Planar said the series includes the Dome Z16, a 16-megapixel, 30-inch, single grayscale diagnostic-imaging display for medical applications that demand precision and image quality. Founded in 1983, Planar Systems is headquartered in Beaverton, Ore.
