Planar Rolls High Resolution Video Wall

Beaverton, Oregon-based Planar Systems, a developer of display hardware and software, said today that it has launched a new, ultra-high resolution wall display. The firm said its new video wall provides up to 5,760 x 2,160 pixels of resolution (12 megapixel) and a 146-inch display. The new video wall is aimed at the oil and gas, simulation, and geospatial imaging markets. Pricing on the new display products was not disclosed. The firm said it will offer both a 100-inch diagonal and 146-inch display.
