Microsoft Expands IP Licensing
Microsoft has rolled out a new, intellectual property licensing scheme for its mouse and keyboard technologies, the firm said today. Microsoft said that it will make its IP available to Microsoft partners. The firm said that it U2 technology, used to allow either PS2 or USB connections, its Tilt Wheel technology, and its Magnifier viewing and editing tool. The firm reported that Targus, Acrox Technology, and KYE Systems are some of the first licensees of the technology.
