Microsoft Acquires MotionBridge

Microsoft said Monday that it has acquired MotionBridge, a Paris-based software provider for the mobile search space. Microsoft said that it acquired the firm because it is strategically important to its vision for its Windows Live service. MotionBridge provides clustered results and other services for search via mobile phones and devices. Terms of the acquisitoin were not disclsoed.
