Microsoft Acquires SWNG
Bellevue-based Microsoft has acquired Swing Technologies, a developer of the photo app SWNG, the companies said on Monday. Financial details of the buy were not announced. According to the companies, Swing's employees will join Skype's team at Microsoft. Swing was based in San Francisco, and was founded Tommy Stadlen and Frederick Blackford in 2014. The company was backed by such investors as Biz Stone.
