Intermec CEO Undergoes Bypass

Everett, Washington-based Intermec, the developer of barcode, RFID, and other supply chain tracking products, reported today that its CEO, Patrick J. Byrne, underwent a minimally invasive coronary bypass procedure on Friday. Intermec said Byrne is expected to return to full duties in three to four weeks, with the firm's currently being headed by SVP and CFO Robert J. Driessnack.
