Cray Names R&D VP

Seattle-based Cray, the supercomputer developer, has named Stathis Papaefstathiou as its new Senior Vice President of Research and Development, according to the company. Papaefstathiou was most recently Senior Vice President of Engineering at Aerohive Networks. He also has served at F5 Networks and Microsoft. Cray said Papaefstathiou will lead all software and hardware engineering efforts related to its research and development projects.
