Cray Names Chief Marketing Officer

Seattle-based Cray has named a new Chief Marketing Officer, according to the company. Cray said it has appointed Fred Kohout to the position, to help lead the company's marketing efforts and strategic marketing, business development, and partnerships. Kohout was most recently a Vice President at EMC, and also had served at Sun Microsystems. Cray says Kohout has more than 25 years of marketing experience. Cray is a developer of supercomputing hardware, systems, and software used for high performance computing (HPC).
