Arivale Targets Weight Loss Market

Seattle-based Arivale, the scientific wellness startup which uses a combination of gene sequencing and other clinical testing to help individuals understand the best way to improve their health, said on Tuesday that it has launched a special program around weight loss. The company said the new Weight Loss program will help its users achieve "a unique and personalized healthy and sustainable weight loss" managed by a dedicated coach. Arivale said its new offering uses a participant's genetic makeup, clinical lab data from independent labs and personal dietary preferences, to hep individuals who have struggled to maintain weight loss over time.
