Arivale Adds $13.6M For Scientific Wellness Efforts
Seattle-based scientific wellness startup Arivale has raised $13.6M in an ongoing funding round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm on Tuesday. Details on the funding--which has a target of just shy of $30.0M--have not yet been announced by the company. So far, nine investors have participated in the funding. Arivale, led by CEO Clayton Lewis, uses the results of DNA testing and other tests to help consumers change their life, including diet, exercise, and other factors, to help improve their overall health. The company was co-founded by Lewis and DNA pioneer and legend Leroy Hood. Arivale has previously raised funding from ARCH Venture Partners, Polaris Partners, and Maveron. More information »
