Amazon.com Buys TenMarks

Seattle-based Amazon.com said Thursday that it has agreed to acquire TenMarks, a startup which has been developing mathematics software for the K-12 market. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. According to Amazon, it will use the buy to develop rich educational content and applications for the Amazon Kindle. Amazon said it expects the deal to close in Q4.
