Amazon Adds Ten Planes To Amazon Air Fleet
Seattle-based Amazon is expanding its fleet of cargo aircraft, the company said on Friday, saying it has leased an additional ten 767-300 planes for its Amazon Air operation. The additional planes bring its total fleet to 50 aircraft. Amazon Air launched in 2016 to aid Amazon in package delivery logistics. Amazon says those planes are now operating out of 21 air gateway locations. Amazon's fleet is operated by cargo carrier ATSG.
