Planetary Resources Acquired By Blockhain Company

Redmond-based Planetary Resources, the asteroid mining and space probe developer, has been acquired by ConsenSys, a Blockchain "venture production studio", the companies said last week. According to the firms, Planetary Resources' President and Ceo Chris Lewicki, and General Counsel Brian Israel will join ConsenSys as part of the acquisition. Financial details of the deal were not announced. ConsenSys is led by Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin. According to ConsenSys, it will operate its "space initiatives" out of Planetary Resources' former facility in Redmond.
