Planetary Resources Plants Asteroid Mining Flag In Luxembourg

The country of Luxembourg said over the weekend that it has established a new, $227M fund, specifically to attract companies who are looking to mine asteroids to locate in the country. The country--which already has a relationship with Seattle-based Planetary Resources---said it would use those funds to invest in research and development efforts of those companies. Luxembourg did not say how much it is investing in Planetary Resources, which is arguably the highest profile asteroid mining venture.
