Amazon Has A Money-Laundering Fake Book Problem

Here's a new one for the world of money laundering: a security research reports that someone has been using fake books on Amazon.com's Createspace--sold for hundreds of dollars--to launder ill gotten money. According to the report, there are many books full of computer generated gibberish, with outlandish prices of hundreds of dollars, which apparently have been "published" and sold with fake authors and stolen Social Security Numbers.
