Wave Broadband Expands In California

Kirkland-based Wave Broadband has inked a deal to bring its high speed, fiber broadband to the city of Santa Maria, California, the company announced this morning. According to Wave, it has signed an agreement with the City of Santa Maria to bring high speed, gigabit fiber to the city's departments, businesses, schools, and residents. Financial details of the "multi-million" dollar project were not announced. Santa Maria is located midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, on California's Central Coast. The City of Santa Maria said that fiber broadband was a priority for its to attract tech businesses and employees to the area.
