Rover.com, American Kennel Club Link On Pet Marketplace

Seattle-based Rover.com is powering a new, online pet services marketplace for the American Kennel Club (AKC), as the two said today that the AKC will add the ability to help dog owners link up with pet sitting and dog walking services on its marketplace. The AKC's marketplace currently offers up a way for potential dog owners to find purebred dogs. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The two said dog owners will be able to discover local Rover pet sitters and dog walkers in the AKC Marketplace, with care providers' profiles, ratings and availability.
