MightyAI's Matt Bencke Passes Away After Cancer Battle

Matt Bencke, the CEO and co-founder of Seattle-based MightyAI, has passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, according to MightAI co-founder Daryn Nakhuda. Bencke, who was only recently diagnosed with cancer, was 45. Bencke leaves behind his wife, Amy, and two daughters, Anna and Elsie. MightyAI is venture backed by Intel Capital, Accenture Ventures, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Foundry Group, Madrona Venture Group, and New Enterprise Associates, and was formerly known as Spare5.
