Cray Wins $48M Deal In South Korea

Seattle-based Cray reported today that it has been awarded a $48M contract in South Korea, from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information. According to Cray, the win was for a 128-rack, Cray CS500 cluster supercomputer, which will provide supercomputing services for universities, research institutes, and industries. The supercomputer will be the largest supercomputer in South Korea.
