Taunt Takes $1.75M For Esports Platform

Seattle-based Taunt, a spinout of Pioneer Square Labs, says it has raised $1.75M in a seed funding round. The startup, led by Pioneer Square Labs' Ben Gilbert, said the funding was led by Foundry Group, and also included Vulcan Capital. Taunt says it is developing an esports fan competition platform which will make watching esports a "much richer experience." Foundry's Brad Feld joins the company's board with the funding.
