L4 Media Takes On Television Widgets

Kirkland-based L4 Media, a new firm headed by Bruce James and Brandon Albers, said this week that it has launched a new television widget platform for the IPTV market. The firm said its platform makes it easier for consumers to access Twitter, Facebook, weather forecast, sports scores, and other personalized content directly from their televisions. The company said its Panorama widget platform is, so far, integrated into products from Nokia Siemens Network. James was most recently at SNAPin Software, and also has served at WDS Global; Albers was co-founder of Mobui, and also has been at Action Engine and virtualteamworks.com.
