Remitly: We're Now Sending $3 Billion A Year Around The World

Seattle-based international mobile remittance startup Remitly, which is venture backed by International Finance Corporation (IFC), Silicon Valley Bank, Stripes Group, DFJ, DN Capital, QED Investors, Trilogy Equity Partners, Bezos Expeditions, Founders; Co-Op, and TomorrowVentures, says it is now handling $3 billion a year in international money transfers. The company said the company includes movement between the US and the Philippines, its original market, as well as expanded movement between the US, UK, and Canada to the Philippines, India, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Peru.
