Utrip Finds $4M For Travel Planning Site
Seattle-based Utrip, a startup which is combining artificial intelligence and community feedback to offer up travel recommendations to its users, said Monday that it has it raised $4M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Plug and Play, Tiempo Capital, Acorn Ventures, SWAN Venture Fund and W&W Capital, along with angels Gary Wipfler (Apple), Richard Galanti (Costco), Ken Alterman (Savers Inc.), H.S. Wright III (Seattle Hospitality Group), Carla Murray, Craig Schafer, and Neal Dempsey (Bay Partners). Gilad Berenstein is founder and CEO of Utrip. More information »
