Amazon Web Services Wins Live Nation

Seattle-based Amazon Web Services said on Wednesday that it has been selected by live entertainment producer and ticketing firm Live Nation Entertainment. According to the two, Live Nation is moving its global IT infrastructure to the AWS Cloud, including both Ticketmaster and Live Nation's corporate IT infrastructure, plus parts of Live Nation's Festival business. Financial impact of the deal were not announced. The companies said Live Nation currently sees about 80 million visits per month to its web sites.
