XXcelerate Fund Aims To Help Women Entrepreneurs

A new, nonprofit startup funding effort, the XXcelerate Fund, announced this week that it has launched and effort to fund female entrepreneurs. The new fund says it will make its first investment later this year, when it reaches its initial $500,000. The fund says it will address the critical and entrenched capital shortfall facing women entrepreneurs in Oregon, with initial funding from the Portland Development Commission. Robin Klemm is Executive Director of the XXcelerate Fund.
