Madrona Announces $300M Fund, Madrona Venture Fund VI

Seattle-based venture investor Madrona said Thursday that it has closed on its sixth fund, Madrona Venture Fund VI, at $300M. Madrona said the round was oversubscribed. The new fund brings the company's total under management to nearly $1.3 billion. Madrona said it will invest the new fund in the Pacific Northwest, and beyond. Madrona did not say who the limited partners in the fund were, but said they continue to be endowments, foundations, family offices, and entrepreneurs that have supported the firm's funds for many years.
