Onvia Names New CEO

Seattle-based Onvia, which operates a marketplace which connects busineses to government contracts, said that it has named technology veteran Russ Mann as its new President and CEO. Mann also joins the company's board of directors. Mann was CEO of search marketing software company Covario, which was acquired by Dentsu Aegis; he was most recently at Outerwall, before its acquisition by Apollo Equity; and he also served at Nintex, Peregrine Systems, MyFICO, HNC Software, Homestore, Onyx Software, and other firms. He currently sits on the board of Ooma.
