Amazon's Alexa Fund Backs Owlet's Smart Baby Monitoring Socks
Amazon.com has made an investment in Owlet Baby Care, a maker of a wearable sock for babies, which monitors their oxygen levels and heart rates and sends them to a smartphone, as part of a funding round today. Owlet said the funding came from Eclipse and Eniac, plus Trilogy Equity Partners, the Amazon Alexa Fund, RTP-HC, Capital Integral and Broadway Angels.
