Star Aviation Acquired By Carlisle Companies

Star Aviation, a provider of design and engineering services, testing and certification work for the aviation market which has technical services facilities in Lynnwood, Washington, has been acquired by Arizona-based Carlisle Companies. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Star Aviation--which has annual sales of around $30M, and 150 employees--also has manufacturing facilities in Mobile, Alabama. The company was founded in 1999, and set up its Lynnwood facilities in 2003, to specifically provide technical services support to The Boeing Company.
