Microsoft Leads Round In Aqua Security
Microsoft is the lead investor in a funding round for Aqua Security, a developer of security products for the "virtual container" market. According to Aqua Security, which is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, it received $9M in a Series A funding, which was led by Microsoft Ventures. The company's seed investors, TLV Partners and Shlomo Kramer also participated in the funding. The investment on Microsoft's side was managed by Mony Hassid, General Manager and Managing Director of Microsoft Ventures. Aqua Security has now raised $13.5M in total.
