Icebrg.io Gets $2.5M For Network Security Efforts
Seattle-based Icebrg.io, a startup founded by former Microsoft Security veterans William Peteroy and Josh Carlson, said last week that it has raised $2.5M in a seed financing round. The funding was led by Madrona Venture Group, and also included Formation 8 and other angels and institutional investors. Icebrg.io is focused on helping Fortune 200 companies fend off attacks by professional hackers. Both founders were most recently at Microsoft's Security Response Group, and also both had served at the National Security Agency (NSA). More information »
