Allrecipes Gets Its Own TV Series On The CW

Seattle-based Allrecipes is getting its own television series, inspired by the company's Dinner Spinner app, according to media company Meredith. Meredith said it will launch a new television program this fall, based on the "Allrecipes Dinner Spinner" app, which will air on the CW Network. Meredith said the new series will begin airing on October 1st at 11 a.m. ET/PT. The 26-week series is being sponsored by Panasonic, and will be hosted by chef and TV personality Gabe Kennedy. Allrecipes is owned by Meredith, which acquired the company back in 2012. Meredith said the series is the very first television show based on a mobile app.
