DimensionalMechanics Launches AI Software, Backed By $4.7M
Seattle-based DimensionalMechanics, which is developing artificial intelligence aimed at helping with data analysis, content curation, and simulation, said today that it has launched its first software offering. The company said the new software, NeoPulse, is aimed at incorporating "human-like intuition" into existing systems, and is initially aimed at the areas of broadcast media, interactive entertainment, and fashion technology. DimensionalMechanics is led by Rajeev Dutt, and says it has so far raised $4.7M in a single round of funding. The company says that, so far, its software has been used to analyze news coverage and identity the key characteristics of news articles that engage audience members, and to power a 3D design simulation application for fashion designers, among other applications.
