Kymeta Wins Award For Antenna Technology

Redmond-based satellite antenna technology developer Kymeta has received an award from Frost & Sullivan, for its development of its antenna technology, the company said this week. Kymeta said it received the New Product Innovation Award for its compact automotive antennas for satellite broadband. Kymeta uses electronic steering of satellite antennas, which enables very flat and compact antennas--and also supports high speed, moving vehicles, unlike traditional satellite antennas, which are physically steered with motors and servos.
