Webtrends Names New CTO

Portland-based Webtrends, the developer of marketing analytics and web analytics software, said this week that it has promoted Peter Crossley to the position of Chief Technology Officer at the company. Crossley was most recently Director of Product Architecture and Technology, and has been at Webtrends since 2009. The company said that Crossley is behind its Webtrends Infinity big data platform, which it expects to release later this year.
