WebTrends Gets Win At HMV
Portland-based WebTrends said Thursday that it is in a partnership with HMV, a entertainment retailer in the UK and Ireland, to help the firm track user interaction on its in-store information kiosks. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. WebTrends explained that HMV launched new kiosks in November which will allow its customers to download music onto USB key and flash drives. WebTrends will provide the analytics behind the kiosks, which are being piloted at five of HMV's UK stores.
