INRIX Targets Waze With Smart, Predictive Traffic Routing App

Kirkland-based INRIX is ramping up the battle to create intelligent, traffic routing apps, with a new mobile app which uses predictive, machine learning to help users with getting to their destinations faster. The new mobile app also pulls information from a user's calendar automatically to anticipate trip a user will be taking, send out alerts, and also keeps track of a user's preferred routes and destinations--predicting, for example, that you are likely to be heading to work, home, or school based on your prior driving history. The INRIX Traffic app--which INRIX said has been "completely redesigned"--works on iOS and Android.
