Trupanion Launches $17M Veterinary Software

Seattle-based pet insurance provider Trupanion has rolled out some new web-based, veterinary software, which the company uses to receive, process, approve and disburse payments for claims, the company said this week. The company said it has spent over $17 million dollars since 2013 to develop the new software, which is aimed at use in veterinary hospitals. The company said the web app eliminates the need for cumbersome paper forms, which had previously been required before for reimbursements. The new software is available for free to veterinary hospitals from the company.
