Vetsource Finds $50M

Portland, Oregon-based Vetsource, which provides prescription management services to veterinary practices--providing software to manage veterinary practices, and which delivers pet medication to pet owners on behalf of veterinary practices, has raised $50M in a funding round. The funding came from Bain Capital Ventures. Vetsource offers up home delivery for veterinary pharmacies, compounding, periodic refills of prescriptions, and other services to what the company says are more than 17,000 U.S. veterinary practices.
