Maveron Backs Pet Insurance Firm Trupanion

Seattle-based venture capital investor Maveron has backed a provider of pet insurance, Trupanion, which has its U.S. offices in Seattle but is based in Vancouver. Trupanion said it raised $9M, from Maveron's Highland Consumer Fund. Maveron is an existing investors in Trupanion. According to Trupanion, the new funding will go towards continued growth. The new funding brings the company's total raised to $38M. More information »
