Stress-Tek Acquired For $20M By Vishay Precision Group

Kent, Washington-based Stress-Tek, a manufacturer of stress and strain sensors, has been acquired by Vishay Precision Group (VPG), a developer of precision sensors and systems, the two said Tuesday. VPG said that it paid approximately $20M for Stress-Tek, including acquisition of real estate valued at $5.5M. VPG also said that it expects that Stress-Tek will have approximately $9M in annual sales and $1.1M EBITDA in 2015.
