Applied Precision Acquired By GE Healthcare
Issaquah, Washington-based Applied Precision, a developer of cellular imaging products for the cell biology and biomedical research market, has been acquired by GE Healthcare, a unit of GE. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. GE said it will continue to retain Applied Precision's facility in Issaquah. Applied Precision has approximately 130 employees, and had 2010 revenues of approximately $37M. GE said the buy will allow it to expand its offering of products and services for pharmaceutical and life science research.
