Pixvana Gets $6M For Virtual Reality Technology

Seattle-based Pixvana, a new startup developing Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) video processing tools, has raised $6M in a funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding was led by Madrona Venture Group, and also included Vulcan Capital. Pixana was founded by Forest Key and Bill Hensler; Key previously worked on Flash and Silverlight as a product manager.
